FORST live in Offenburg is Germany's largest annual demonstration show for forestry technology, renewable energies, and hunting. Over 360 exhibitors from 19 countries present state-of-the-art technology, machinery, and services on over 46,000 m² of outdoor space and 11,000 m² of indoor space—in a practical setting where visitors can experience them in action.
Forestry and forestry technology:
timber harvesting, forest management, timber processing, transport technology, surveying, occupational safety, and digital solutions.
Renewable energies:
including biomass heating systems, wood gasification boilers, wood-burning stoves, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, energy storage, and consulting on wind power projects.
Hunting:
including equipment for hunting and wildlife observation, modern optics, thermal imaging, and night vision technology.

FORST live Congress – Knowledge. Exchange. Future.
March 27, 2026, will see the launch of the FORST live Congress – the trade fair's new central expert forum. Under the motto “The future of forestry – knowledge meets practice,” experts, decision-makers, and innovators will discuss the most important developments and challenges facing the forestry industry.
You can look forward to high-caliber keynotes, practical insights, and inspiring discussions on topics such as forest conversion, energy, technology, and sustainability. The Congress creates space for exchange between business, science, and practice – compact, focused, and future-oriented.

FORST live Excursion
Since 2025, an excursion program has also been enriching the offering, providing practical insights into typical Black Forest areas.
Climate-positive forestry - Together for a sustainable future:
Under the motto “Our forests can do more,” the working group, in collaboration with the Baden-Württemberg Forestry Chamber and the Cooperative Association, is hosting the Wald.Dialog.Zukunft conference at the EDEKA Arena. The aim is to highlight the importance of sustainable, climate-positive forest use.
