Association of German Falconers

The VERBAND DEUTSCHER FALKNER (VDF) is the youngest of Germany's major falconry associations.

It is an association of active falconers and bird of prey enthusiasts.

One of its primary goals is to preserve and maintain falconry as a valuable cultural asset.

The regional associations in Baden-Württemberg, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia offer preparatory courses for the falconry examination once or twice a year. These courses are a prerequisite for admission to the falconry examinations in the respective federal states.
